In the name of Allah, The Beneficent, the Merciful
Dear Brothers and sisters
Assalamo Alaikum WR-WB
All praises are due to Allah (SWT) who guides us through Quran and the Seerah – May Allah have
blessings and peace upon His last Messenger.
May this Eid ul Fitr brings blessings of Allah (SWT) to have peace and harmony in this world and open
the doors of success for all of us in the hereafter.
Alhamdulillah, we all tried our best to get closer to Allah and attain Taqwa during the blessed month
of Ramadan that would insha-Allah help us continue the A’mal-Saleh(Good Deeds) throughout the
years ahead of us.
Based on the training we had in Ramadan, let us all continue the following good deeds most of them
also reminded in the beginning of Ramadan.
1. Perform five times Salah with KHUSHU in Jama’ah
2. Recite Quran (minimum one verse daily) with meaning and Tafseer
3. Memorize short Surah or Ayat
4. Reading one Hadith Daily
5. Staying away from swearing, backbiting and vain talk.
6. Thanking Allah (SWT) for blessings bestowed on us and repents to Him for mistakes and sins.
7. Give Sadaqah each day, no matter how little it is(“Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water
extinguishes fire”(Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)
8. Attend our chapter meetings and Tarbiyah sessions regularly.
9. Invite relatives and friends to our chapter programs
10. Get involved in Dawah works regularly and volunteer our time to organize chapter events.
11. Make a list of Dua’s every night for ourselves, children, spouse ,friends, relatives and for
Muslim Ummah
May Allah help us all to work for His Deen with proper vision and planning – we now have in detail –
Alhamdolillah through the efforts of dedicated brothers and sisters.May Allah (SWT) accept all of our ibadah, fasting, salat, zakat and sacrifices performed during the
month of Ramadan. May Allah unite our hearts, forgive and forget each other’s mistakes, grant us
Taqwa and forgiveness, accept us as Daee’ to convey His message to all. May Allah help all of us to run
ICNA in transparent manner with accountability.
May Allah (SWT) have mercy on our relatives and friends who passed away, place them in Jannah and
grant peace and Sabr to the families left behind.
In this day when we are observing Eid, we seek Allah ‘s help for all Muslims who are oppressed and
being killed on daily basis in Burma, Syria and other parts of the world. We all should remember in our
Dua asking Allah’s help to relieve the sufferings of Muslims are enduring with or without being
reported.
A reminder for all of us again as Allah says:
“I swear by the time, Most surely man is in loss, Except those who believe and do good, and
enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience”( Surah Al-Asr :103)
Eid Mubark to all brothers and sisters.
Jazak-Allahu Khair
