Statement of ICNA Canada’s President on shooting in Orlando

ICNA Canada shares the grief and pain of the victims of the tragic incident of mass shooting in Orlando. Our prayers and our hearts are with the injured and with the families and friends of those who succumbed to this heinous crime. We unequivocally condemn such act of terror that is against the teachings of Islam. Islam encourages social justice, harmony and peace, as recently we celebrated in the life of Muhammad Ali. We must remain united with our fellow citizens in our commitment to defeat hate and anger with love and inclusivity.
