ICNA Canada has expressed heartfelt condolences & condemnation for the Shooting in Toronto:

Oakville; July 23, 2018: ICNA (Islamic Circle of North America) Canada on behalf of Muslim Community of Canada has expressed its deepest condolences on the death of an 18-year-old woman and 10-year-old girl due to Sunday night’s shooting on Danforth Avenue in Toronto.

As fellow Canadians, our hearts go out to the 13 other victims and their families. We share their feelings, pain & suffering and pray for a fast and full recovery to all those injured.

We condemn the actions of the shooter and hope that this tragedy raises awareness on mental health problems troubling our great society. We urge the Mayor of the city, administration and the law enforcement agencies to work continuously to ensure the safety and security of all Canadians against the gun violence.
