Ramadan & Eid Announcement – Greetings 1439 AH/2018
The Islamic Circle of North America-Canada (ICNA Canada) is pleased to announce the holy month of Ramadan will begin on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
ICNA Canada follows the position of the Fiqh Council of North America, which uses the methodology of calculations for determining the Islamic lunar months for North America.
On the basis of this method, the dates of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr for the year 1439 AH/2018 are as follows:
The first day of Ramadan will be on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
The first day of Shawwal (Eid Al-Fitr) will be on Friday, June 15, 2018.
